Bryck has a hands on approach to site supervision, maintaining a high site presence that ensures the highest quality of work and accuracy at all times. His motto is “draw it and I will build it”. He has an exceptional eye for detail and appreciates the challenge and knows how to deliver detailed design work.
Together the boys building approach and knowledge lead to proactive cost efficient problem solving and building techniques, the communication on site was prompt and effective, any building issues were clarified prior to becoming a problem. All the staff and subcontractors were well mannered and respectful. All trades had been coordinated effectively. The job ran on time and on budget, with a high level of finish achieved. It is wonderful to see builders taking pride and passion in what they are delivering.
Building is a team effort, and Archeden is an essential part of that team. I strongly recommend the boys for a smooth running high attention to detail, quality project.

”Although we had experience with a variety of new builds and renovations our project at 4 Bertha Rd, Cremorne was more challenging than anything we had done previously. We chose Archeden through recommendation from a neighbour and because of the quality of their workmanship. They did not disappoint. We embarked on a journey with them with more challenges than any of us could have imagined from heritage listing requirements to a certifier who was deregistered failing to tell us and causing all sorts of complications and delays. Through it all Bryck and Leonard were professional focussed and uncompromising. Looking at the house now, no-one could image the original house completely supported by piers as we dug underneath with a road going through the under croft to the back yard. The outcome is amazing and a credit to all involved. Bryck is exceptional from his technical expertise to his strong personal skills which means he commands respect and dedication from all trades who work with him. Leonard worked behind the scenes and also gave valuable input to design concepts. We commend them and are grateful for a marvellous job well done.

”Thank you for the work you did in totally renovating our home. We choose you, Arch Eden, as our builders because we believed you were top quality builders and the type of men we could work with to achieve a great outcome. So it has proved to be! We started with a large 5 bedroom Cremorne house (which was way too big for my wife and I) and now we have a 3 bedroom apartment downstairs to lease out and a 3 bedroom apartment upstairs for us to enjoy. A terrific solution, especially when compared to the alternative of selling up and moving into an apartment block. We are as delighted with the result as we have been with the building experience itself.
We were fairly confident you would do very high quality work before you started. We had seen that in the major renovations you did for our daughter and son-in-law a few years before. You didn't disappoint us. Our "new home" is all that we hoped it would be. The finishes are first class. Our friends, without fail, have been impressed with the result. You engaged tradesmen/subcontractors who knew their trade and followed your own quality standards. Our tenant downstairs pays a healthy rent; the separation of the two apartments is well "sound proofed". Indeed, it is much better than any apartment block we inspected; plus we have the privacy we had when our home was just a single dwelling. Good construction when added with good design has worked so well for us.
Bryck and Leonard, you have also been a delight to work with. You offered creative solutions to any issues that arose during construction. You listened and responded to our ideas along the way. It was a nice balance and has been a most positive experience for us. Some of our friends have told us of the nightmare they had with their builders. We were on good terms with you at the start and, more importantly, at the end of the job. You finished ahead of time and on budget. Even our neighbours told us that you went out of your way to meet their requests during the job.
Your costs were competitive at the start and you didn't compromise on quality during the job. All this may sound too good to be true, but it was and is true. Please feel free to use this short note in your discussions over future jobs. We wish you well. You deserve it.

”Archeden was recommended by my architect as a building company who was one of the most organised that he had worked with, and Bryck and Leonard certainly lived up to expectations. The brief was tricky as we required conversion of a three story commercial building to mixed residential/commercial use. The main difficulty was to allow the continued use of part of the building as a specialist medical practice whilst converting the 1st floor and basement to residential use. This also included the retro-fitting of a lift which necessitate breaking through two concrete floors. Through a clever use of external access to the construction zones, the closure of the office area was kept to a mere four weeks in the context of a nine month build. Communication with both Bryck and Leonard and their subcontractors was exceptional and their suggestions to improve the final result made the build a very pleasurable experience. We have no hesitation in recommending Archeden for any project large or small.
